Moyer Jr. tests waters with LOLMDS at Brownstown and Atomic

Billy Moyer Jr. was one of 44 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) entries on hand at Brownstown Speedway (Brownstown, Ind.) on Saturday evening for the Indiana Icebreaker. After the fourth and final transfer spot in his heat race locked his spot into the $15,000-to-win A-Main, LOLMDS officials made the decision to postpone the remainder of the evening to May 2nd due to rough track conditions.

The following night at Atomic Speedway (Chillicothe, Ohio) for the Buckeye Spring 50, Billy posted a fourth place finish in his heat race, which positioned him 15th on the starting grid for the A-Main. With $12,000 on the line, Moyer Jr. was an early retiree from the 50-lapper on lap 12.
