Pair of Top-5 finishes with Comp Cams Super Dirt Series

n Friday afternoon, Billy Moyer Jr. kicked off the doubleheader weekend with the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) at Poplar Bluff Motorsports Park (Poplar Bluff, Mo.) piloting his Hass Horizontal No. 21jr Late Model. In a field of 29 cars, Billy followed up the second fastest time in his qualifying group behind Scott Crigler with an eight-lap heat race victory. Starting the opening night feature in fourth, Moyer Jr. held his spot to register a fourth-place finish, trailing Billy Moyer, Tony Jackson Jr., and Brian Rickman across the line with Ashton Winger coming in fifth. For the second round of the doubleheader, Moyer Jr. traveled to Legit Speedway Park (West Plains, Mo.) on Saturday for another $3,000-to-win A-Main. Picking up an eight-lap heat race win over Mason Oberkramer, Billy locked into the second-starting position for the A-Main. Losing one spot in the 40-lap affair, Moyer Jr. notched a third-place finish behind Brian Rickman and Hunter Rasdon with his dad and Kyle Beard rounding out the Top-5.
