Eighth-place finish in Farmer City 74

Wednesday night found Billy Moyer Jr. in action at Brownstown Speedway (Brownstown, Ind.) for the Castrol FloRacing Night in America event. In a field of 33 cars, Moyer Jr followed up the third fastest time in his qualifying group with a runner-up finish in his heat behind Kyle Larson. With the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) doubleheader weekend nixed, Billy headed to Farmer City Raceway (Farmer City, Ill.) on Friday afternoon for the Mars Racing Series-sanctioned Farmer City 74. With a fourth-place finish in his heat race pinning him 16th on the starting grid for the $10,000-to-win A-Main, Moyer Jr. marched forward eight spots in the 74-lapper to place eighth.

On Saturday night at Fairbury Speedway (Fairbury, Ill.), Moyer Jr. came in third in his heat race, which positioned him 10th on the starting grid for the main event. With $15,000 on the line, Billy improved one spot to finish ninth.
