Geico East Bay Nationals brings BMJ to East Bay

Billy Moyer Jr. was one of 35 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) entries registered in for action at East Bay Raceway Park (Tampa, Fla.) on Monday afternoon for the second half of the Reopening Tour. After coming one spot shy of a transfer position in his heat with a fifth place finish, Moyer Jr. streaked to a 10-lap consolation victory. For the second round of the Geico East Bay Nationals on Tuesday, Billy secured his spot into the $7,000-to-win A-Main with the fourth and final transfer spot in his heat race. Passing two cars in the 40-lap affair, Moyer Jr. posted a 14th place outing.

On Wednesday evening to wrap up the LOLMDS Reopening Tour, Moyer Jr. posted a fourth place finish in his heat, which positioned him 13th on the starting grid for the finale. With $7,000 on the line, Billy improved two spots to register an 11th place finish.

Billy has jumped up to ninth in the latest LOLMDS point standings.
