HMS Update - Napa Speedway
Tomorrow afternoon we are racing close to home at Napa Speedway in Albuquerque, the first time I’ve been there to race in two years. It is non-wing and $2,000 to win so I am chomping at the bit to get back behind the wheel after little racing in the last month and a half. After having to change rear-ends and blowing a power steering line in Texas our last time out, we decided to regroup with the end of the year coming up and me starting college. Now with some freshened equipment we are ready to do some racing in October and November. Tentatively, we have Napa Speedway scheduled for tomorrow and then four more race weekends after that. We hope to be at Devil’s Bowl on the 18th and 19th for the ASCS National event and after that we will make the trip to Canyon Speedway Park for the Hall of Fame Classic when the USAC National guys come to town on the 25th and 26th. After that we will make the short drive down to El Paso Speedway Park and Southern New Mexico Speedway for the ASCS National events November 1st and 2nd and then our last outing of the year will be the Western World Championships back at Canyon the third weekend of November. It’ll be a mix of wing and non-wing, 360 and 410 to close out 2013 at some tracks that I really like. I’d like to thank Napa, Mesilla Valley Transportation, Momentum Racing Suspensions, Jackson Compaction, Ortega’s Appliance, and everybody who has helped and supported us this year and years previous. I’m hoping we can end this season with a few good, fun, and safe runs!
