Sponsor Spotlight

It's that time of the year when over-sized trophy's and banquets are all that's left. Over the next few weeks we will highlight both the Late Model and the Supermodified teams proud partners that adorned the sides of both respected machines throughout the 2012 season. Without the partnerships and support of their sponsorship the cars would never leave garage area. We want to take the time to talk about what each company does and thank them for their support. With their help 2012 was a huge success, capping the year with a combined 22 wins and 4 championships between both teams.

Our first installment of sponsor spotlight covers the primary sponsors that made things possible for both Bernhardt Motorsports and the Witkum Brothers Racing teams.

The Jim Broadhurst owned Windham, NH based Ekeys-4-Cars company has been a part of Bruce Bernhardt Motorsports for the past 6 years. They have been a title sponsor of the bright orange 27NH late model and Wayne Helliwell Jr. for the last four seasons. Ekeys-4-Cars is leader in transponder automotive keys. Electronic immobilizer systems built into most vehicles on the road today require expensive electronic keys. That’s where Jim and his team come in. Since 2003 they have been #1 alternative source for duplication, transponders or lost keys.

Ekeys-4-Cars is one of the largest AAA affiliated, nationally accredited (CAL) locksmiths in the New Hampshire, Merrimack Valley, and Northeastern Massachusetts area. With four fully equipped and stocked vans and a full shop, they service a large geographical location and can perform most services at the vehicles location, making it unnecessary to tow the car. Whether its remote keyless entry or smart keys, Ekeys-4-Cars has the technology to get you going.

They are located at 60 Rockingham Road, #20 Windham, NH 03087. Further information can be found on their web site - http://www.ekeys4cars.com/index.php or at (603) 893-0999.

The Ed and Bobby Witkum owned 350 Supermodified have seen the sides of the winged 21 machine adorned with the SCI logo of Scherbon Consolidated, Inc. for the last three years. A longtime friend of the Witkum brothers the Scherbon Consolidated, Inc. owner and president Scott Scherbon Sr. is not just a sponsor but also a crew member with the open wheel race car.

SCI located Amesbury, MA is the leader in Emergency Power & Waste Water Pumping Systems. The 35 year old company specializes in sales, service and repair of power generation and pumping equipment. SCI offers commercial standby power sources, waste water pump and lift stations both for sale and rent. They sell and service all major brands of critical power sources and pumping systems, controls, valves and monitoring equipment. They have the ability to supply a general contractor, State, County or town in a time of need.

They can be reached toll free at (800) 808-0611 and online at http://www.scherbon.com/index.html They are centrally located in New England at 40 Haverhill Road, Amesbury MA 01913.

As the saying goes, help support the businesses that support racing. If you have the opportunity or need to use these companies be sure to tell them you found them on side of a Wayne Helliwell Jr. race car because without them the teams could not be successful.
