Helms Invading Fremont Speedway This Weekend for Jim Ford Classic

Inside Line Promotions – FINDLAY, Ohio (Sept. 16, 2015) – Caleb Helms is scheduled to return to UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions competition this weekend at Fremont Speedway for the Jim Ford Classic.

“I like racing at Fremont, but I haven’t done great there this year,” he said. “We’ve just been off the few times we’ve been there. Hopefully we can figure something out this weekend to get back in the top 10.”

Helms has competed at the third-mile oval in Fremont, Ohio, three times this season and he has registered finishes of 22nd, 23rd and 22nd, respectively.

“We’ve struggled throughout each night there,” he said. “Qualifying each time has put us behind the eight ball so that will be a focus this weekend.”

Helms recorded a pair of top-six finishes at Fremont Speedway last season.

“We haven’t raced there a ton, but it’s a track close to home,” he said. “We have earned good finishes in the past so hopefully we can get back on track this weekend.”

Helms captured a top-10 finish during his last All Star race earlier this month.
