Winter Update
As winter seems to be getting colder and colder, things are starting to heat up for the legend racing #9 team. Closing out the year with some solid finishes the start of a dismal 2012 season ended with things looking up giving us positive feedback with changes we have made to our racing program. “We had some issues with understanding some of the dynamics of the race car this year, no one was to blame for the issues but we feel that we are understanding how the race car should be working on the race track and are excited for the new season” comments team owner Jim Goerges.
The team made some changes for the upcoming 2013 season. We started a new shock program with Supershox toward the end of 2012 and feel that we are on the right track with our shocks for the upcoming season. The team has started putting together a new Maxim chassis for the upcoming UMSS sprint car season. The car will have a new color scheme for 2013 with black and white being the primary colors. The team will also have the car on display for the Bridges Career Exploration Day, under the manufacturing banner to raise awareness for the need of young adults in manufacturing careers. We hope to have sponsors for this event, if anyone is interested please contact Jared Goerges at jared@precisiontooltech.com.
