2022 TOP ET Champion Spotlight

With 46 years of drag racing under his belt; 7 time Top ET/Super/Box Championships at US 13 Dragway; 1981 NHRA Bracket Finals Best Engineered '37 Red Coupe; 2000 NHRA ROC Winner; 2005 Maple Grove Super Chevy Winner; 2015 2nd Place IHRA World Finals in Memphis, Tennessee, what could possibly be the goal for 2024? Our 2022 TOP ET Champion, Ben Parks, looks forward to gearing up his 2009 S & W Chevy Powered Dragster with the goal to win his 8th track Championship. His big accomplishment this year will be getting into and out of his dragster with the "new knee."
Ben has many accomplishments as you see, but he also was the 1st driver at US 13 Dragway to run himself in a final round in September of 2020. He has been a top 5 or better finisher in points multiple years. He was the 1st and last IHRA Champion at the track with the move to WDRA in 2022. In addition, he has numerous wins on the East Coast to be proud of as well.
Ben not only is a champion driver, but he is also a diesel mechanic and builds and tunes his own racing motors.
