Jeremy Schultz
LaSalle ends on a good note
Saturday April 18th, Jeremy Schultz and the 5J team headed a short three hours south to LaSalle IL to compete in the first Interstate Racing Association (IRA) race of the season. Forty cars would be on hand for a beautiful night of racing as the Midwest Open Wheel Association (MOWA) would co-sanction the event. A 68 pill was drawn for qualifying order and that would put Jeremy second to last. After a good hot lap session the team would go to work on the car trying to tighten up the race car. Jeremy would struggle on lap one and work with what he had on lap two only to come away 28th quick.
Jeremy would start seventh in the heat. On the start the Maxim Chassis would continue to be loose and deal Jeremy a hand full. At the end of ten laps Jeremy had worked his way up to fifth place and the final transfer spot.
The 5J would continue to work on the car and push out start the feature in 20th position. Instantly Jeremy liked the changes and he started to move forward. When the dust cleared Jeremy was happy with car and had moved up to finish in the 14th spot.
Jeremy would like to thank Jerry's Automotive, Schultz Auto Body, R & H Racing, Crawford Oil, RC Custom Design, Weld Specialty, Leroy's Meat of Horicon, Vortex Wings, and Nesper Motorsports
