Gear Up for Autograph Night: Meet the Stars at Can-Am Speedway
What better way to finish off the week of work tan to head to the Can-Am Speedway this Friday night and even better. You will meet your favorite drive right on the race track.
It’s the annual family autograph night at the speedway and drivers in all five divisions will be in action but they will also be down trackside to meet you the fans.
Drivers love this time of year as they see familiar fans and new ones as well and all drivers will have plenty to hand out to everyone, making it a memorable night for the avid fan or someone coming to the speedway for the very first time.
On the card of racing the Whitesboro Plow Shop DIRTCar 358 Modifieds will be there and Tim Fuller holds a very comfortable 82 point advantage over 6 time track champion Billy Dunn. Fuller is seeking his 4th straight track championship.
In the Bob Johnson Auto Group DIRTCar Sportsman Mike Fowler continues to remain up front and extended his points lead to 32 after the events on August 3rd. Fowler holds a 32 point edge on Eric Nier coming into this week.
Josh Verne Jr. remains in control of his pursuit of a third straight Panther Frameworx Crate Sprint Car title. With the rain out last week, Verne took a trip to Brockville last Saturday and won his third feature of the year. Verne will continue his battle with Title rival Andrew Hennessy on Friday.
Damien Bechler continues to remain consistent as he chases the track title in the Sundance Leisure Thundercar division. Bechler increased his point lead to 22 over defending track champion Francis White with 2021 track champion Tony Frezzo in third.
In the Donath Motorworx Limited Sportsman, Logan Brown shows the way with 6 wins this year but Brady Howard also cracked victory lane for a 4th time on August 3rd while Genavieve Bartlett also has been to victory lane this year. Camdin Cook also is seeking his first Can-Am win but last weekend he went to the Fulton Speedway and claimed his third career win and first at the high banks.
The top stars of the Can-Am Speedway will be ready to go Friday night and we hope you will be there as well. Gates open at 5pm with the first green flying at 7pm, as the Golden Jubilee Season marches on.
