Fourth-place finish for Jake Gallardo in USRA Fall Nationals at Vado

All three Gallardo cars were in action during the Vado Speedway Park's Fall Nationals over the weekend.

Friday night Jake won his heat from the pole and raced from 8th up to finish 5th in the feature. Fito raced from 7th to 4th in his heat and then moved forward from 16th up to 9th in the feature, while Peyton had some troubles, falling out of both his heat race and the night's b-main.

Saturday night, Jake once again won his heat race and then raced inside the top five all feature long, starting fifth and finishing in third. Fito worked his way from 4th to 2nd in his heat race before crossing the finish line in 13th during the main event and Peyton once again had some troubles on the night, falling out of his heat and b-main for the second night in a row.

Sunday, for the $20,000 to win finale, Peyton finished 19th in the night's c-main, while Fito qualified for the feature by finishing third in the b. In the 50-lap feature, Fito started 13th and finished 11th, while Jake started 6th and raced with the leaders the entire distance, taking a stab at the lead at one point, eventually settling in and finishing a very strong fourth on the weekend.
