Beaver Dam Raceway Welcomes World of Outlaws for Jim “JB” Boyd Memorial June 28

Inside Line Promotions – BEAVER DAM, Wis. – A dozen different World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series drivers have recorded at least one feature victory during the Jim “JB” Boyd Memorial at Beaver Dam Raceway.
Three-time World of Outlaws champion Sammy Swindell is seeking to add his name to that list when the premier sprint car series heads to the third-mile oval on Saturday, June 28.
“We’ve had a little bit of bad luck at times,” he said. “It’s just about having your car set up to be in the right place.”
This will be the 13th consecutive year that the Outlaws have visited Beaver Dam Raceway. It will also mark the 21st race at the track since the inaugural event in 1996, which was won by current NASCAR competitor Dave Blaney.
Blaney claimed two of the first three World of Outlaws races at the track. Since then, only defending series champion Daryn Pittman, Joey Saldana, 20-time series champion Steve Kinser and Jac Haudenschild have earned multiple wins.
In fact, there have been eight different winners in the last nine races at Beaver Dam Raceway.

TIMES: Pits open at 2 p.m.; Main gates open at 4 p.m.; Racing scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
TICKETS –
Check out the O’Reilly Auto Parts $5 off general admission ticket special. When fans purchase a general admission ticket at a participating O’Reilly Auto Parts store they receive $5 off (adult tickets are $35 or $30 at O’Reilly Auto Parts and child tickets are $15 or $10 at O’Reilly Auto Parts). Children 5 and younger get into the race for free. Fans need to exchange their O’Reilly Auto Parts receipt for a ticket at the main grandstands booth on race day.
A pit/combo ticket is also available, which includes a reserved seat, a pit pass and a “Class of 2014” poster of the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series drivers. Adult pit/combo tickets are $38 and pit/combo tickets for children aged 0 to 12 are $25.

Also, spectators can upgrade any ticket to a pit pass for only $10 on race day.
