BOLTON COLLECTS BANDIT BOUNTY AND FIRST EVER FEATURE WIN

Wisconsin Dells WI-Oxford’s Rick Bolton scored his first ever Doug’s Northside Auto Bandit A-Main win on Blystone’s Towing and Recovery Night at DRP, also collecting the $100 Bounty that was placed on the point leader Jordan Hoffman. Ron Myers and Ashtin Schultz brought an impressive field of Bandits to the stripe for their 20 lap Feature race. Schultz would take the advantage and then be immediately challenged by Stephanie WIlson. Schultz would gain the top spot after Wilson made contact with the front stretch wall. Rick Bolton would close the gap and get the better of the rookie to take the lead with a little less than half the race remaining. Jeremy Bredeson would try to chase the 16 down but instead would be under fire by point leader Jordan Hoffman. The two would battle all the way to the checkers in the rear view of Bolton who cruised to victory. Bredeson narrowly edged Hoffman for second Josh Mazur was 4th and Mike Hennessy was scored 5th. Jeremy Bredeson was your fast time qualifier with a lap of 16.819. Rick Bolton won the Fast Dash and Heidi Cuff and Dylan Delaney won the heats. The Doug’s Northside Auto Bandits return to action July 22nd for the Assembly Products All Star Shootout where the winner will collect a $500 payday. They will be joined by 3 classes all racing for big money as well as a sky blasting Fireworks Extravaganza!
