Bryan Clauson Suite Tower Groundbreaking on June 15

Lonnie Wheatley, NOBLESVILLE, Ind. (June 9, 2017) – The memory of Bryan Clauson will live on infinitely.

And for generations to come, Bryan Clauson’s legacy will be honored at the famed Knoxville Raceway while also providing long-term financial security for the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum with the Bryan Clauson Suite Tower

Groundbreaking ceremonies for the Bryan Clauson Suite Tower Project are set for Thursday, June 15, at 12:30 p.m. The date of June 15 is of great significance as well, as that is Clauson’s 28th birthday.

"This truly is a ground-breaking time for the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum and for all of Sprint Car racing. Bryan Clauson's legacy continues to give back to the sport he so dearly loved, and his family and friends are right here with him,” commented National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum executive director Bob Baker.

"We can't thank Richard and Jennifer Marshall, Kyle Larson, Ricky Stenhouse Jr., and all of Bryan's closest friends enough for helping us preserve Bryan's legacy and insuring the future of our museum.” Baker went on to say that, "Bryan Clauson showed us a lot more than the fast way around a race track. And we all owe him our thanks, for all he showed us".

Along with donors for the project and the Clauson family, a number of dignitaries will be on hand for the groundbreaking adjacent to the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame and Museum in Knoxville, IA, including City of Knoxville officials and Marion County fair board members as well as National Sprint Car Hall of Fame members.

The ceremony will feature speakers including family members, donors, Baker, Casey’s General Stores founder Don Lamberti and the mayor of Knoxville among others with lunch to follow at the Hall of Fame. The groundbreaking is open to the public and the media. Additionally, the groundbreaking ceremony will be streamed live on www.thecushion.com for those unable to attend.

Among noted donors for the Bryan Clauson Suite Tower Project are Kyle Larson, Ricky Stenhouse, Jr., Spire Sports + Entertainment, Wells Fargo Bank and Richard and Jennifer Marshall.

Additional funding is still needed to complete the project with no amount too small to be a valuable contribution. Potential donors may make their tax-deductible donations online at http://www.sprintcarhof.com/Pages/Donate.
