Four winners and Four crowned on season championship night.
Four champions were crowned bringing the weekly racing season to an end on Saturday night at 81 Speedway. But no champion would grace victory lane during A-feature action throughout the night.
By virtue of signing in to start the night, Alternative Pest Management USRA Modified driver Tad Davis, BSB Mfg. USRA B-Mod driver Gabe Hodges, and Primal Jerky Mini Stock driver Jayce Reimer all capped off championship efforts in 2022. Wyatt Gaggero and Dakota Dale came into the final night both looking for the JLR Property Management crown, with Gaggero laying claim by virtue of his top 5 effort to end the evening.
After a season long tussle each and every night with Reimer, the "Flying Mullet" Gratton Dalton claimed the finial Primal Beef Jerky Mini Stock checker flag of the evening, besting the 2022 champion to the line.
Reece Solander made it a team affair in victory lane, coupling his race win with his teammate Gabe's championship celebration to cap off BSB Mfg. USRA B-Mod action in 2022.
Following a brief battle with Ryan McAninch, Tyler Davis claimed another Alternative Pest Management USRA Modified checker flag on the year, with his eyes still set squarely on the USRA National title.
While Gaggero and Dale battled for season championship honors, it was Logan Johnson who paced the field until lap traffic made him bobble, allowing Alex Cammon run to the final checker flag of the evening during JLR Property Management Rookie Modified action, claiming his first win on the season.
While weekly racing series points battles are in the books in 2022, the season is far from over with FOE Enterprises at 81 Speedway. Auto Tech Service Super Stock Champion David Blocher leads the charge in to this weekends Crossland Construction Super Stock Shootout presented by Double S Dirt Works with the 150 lap Twister City Enduro to follow!
Then we end the month of October in a big way with the World of Outlaws Case Construction Equipment Late Models visiting 81 Speedway on October 22nd, a week before the United States Modified Series caps off their $100K season championship on October 29th during the 3rd Annual Modified Spooktacular.
