Dalton Jacobs competes at Natural Bridge Speedway over Labor Day weekend

Fresh off a victory from last weekend, Dalton Jacobs took advantage of his Labor Day weekend as he found himself in action at Natural Bridge (Va.) Speedway for the first night of the Crystal Cup with the American All-Star Series.

Qualifying 14th-quickest and finishing fifth in his heat race, Jacobs just missed the A-Main transfer spot in his B-Main by finishing third. Dalton also competed in the Sportsman division where he would settle for second-place in a photo finish with Michael Ayers.

Saturday's $10,000-to-win Crystal Cup finale was rained out.
