1ST HEAT WIN @ VSP
MVT FIREWORKS NIGHT AT VADO SPEEDWAY PARK
Jose De La Fuente (C7) started in Po.6 of the Hacienda Carpet & Tile B-Mods Heat #1. Working himself up to the front thought the heat race, Jose found himself sitting in second place as eight USRA B-Mod's raced their way to turn #1 with the white flag in the air (Melone #35M in first). Lozoya (#08) stole the second place as the raced into turn #3. As the drivers drove into turn #4, Lozoya touched bumpers with Melone, pushing both drivers to the top. Jose drove his C7 smoothly though the inside of turn #4, stealing the first place. The C7 of Jose drove past the finish line in 1st place followed by Fisher (98) then by other drivers hitting the wall and spinning out.
