Faccinto Guides CS9 Chassis, Factory Kahne No. 7J to Three Titles and 12 Wins in 2014!
HANFORD, CA - In one of the most impressive performances turned in by a California micro sprint driver, Michael Faccinto took his CS9 Chassis No. 7J to victory lane on 12 occasions this season. The unbelievable display of domination was strong enough to earn the Hanford native three championships including being crowned the first “King of California.”
It was certainly a season to remember as entering in 29 events during the 2014 season, Faccinto was able to walk out of more 1/3 of those events crowned a victor. Weekly point racing scores were found across the board, but several special event victories highlighted his incredible year.
The first big win of the season came way back in May when Faccinto took the Sero’s Racing Engines powered CS9 Chassis to victory lane in the annual “Palace Nationals” at Lemoore Raceway. Along with that came a huge score at the “Super 600 Nationals” at Plaza Park Raceway when Faccinto swept the weekend on Friday and Saturday back in July.
The last big win of the year came in early October as he led his Factory Kahne No. 7J to another sweep of the “California Cup” at Lemoore Raceway. The dominating performance turned in during just a year’s time earned Faccinto a staggering amount of three championship titles in one season. Along with winning the track championships at Plaza Park and Lemoore, the Hanford wheelman was crowned the first ever “King of California” in the Super 600 division.
It was no doubt an impressive year for not only Faccinto and his No. 7J machine, but everyone with CS9 Chassis. Faccinto will now switch focus to Tulsa mode as he prepares to lead a stacked five-car team of CS9 Chassis drivers into the 30th annual Speedway Motors Tulsa Shootout in Tulsa, Oklahoma. A former champion of the prestigious event in the A-Class division, Faccinto will pilot a CS9 in A-Class and Outlaw as he hopes to bring another “Golden Driller” back to California.
