Cameron Weaver makes return to Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series at Swainsboro Raceway

Making another start with the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series, Cameron Weaver was one of 29 Super Late Models at Swainsboro (Ga.) Raceway for the first night of the Southern Showcase.

Qualifying 11th-quickest in his group, Weaver found himself in a last chance qualifier where he picked up the final A-Main transfer spot in sixth. In the quick 30-lap shootout, Cameron recorded a 24th-place finish.

For Saturday's $20,000-to-win finale, Weaver was unable to start the main event after a 10th-place finish in his last chance qualifier.
