Weaver Sweeps Weekend TOS Competition
Cameron Weaver registered a career first over the weekend with back-to-back victories in Vision Wheel Topless Outlaw Dirt Racing Series action.
He made a clean sweep of the action at I-75 Raceway (Sweetwater, Tenn.) and at Boyd's Speedway (Ringgold, Ga.) by leading all 40 laps of the feature each night to score a pair of victories as his 2022-win total grew to six.
With 27 TOS Late Models in action on Friday night at I-75 Raceway, Cameron set fast time to earn the pole position for the feature, and then led all 40 laps of the feature to score the $2,500 triumph over Hayden Ownbey, Jason Manley, Austin Neely, and Chase King.
On Saturday the TOS contingent traveled to Boyd's Speedway (Ringgold, Ga.), where 28 drivers were on hand. Weaver again set fast time in qualifications and then wired the feature for his second victory in as many nights. He received $3,000 for his winning performance.
John Ownbey, Jason Manley, Skip Arp, and Jed Emert rounded out the Top 5.
