Eli Beets lands eighth-place finish at I-75 Raceway with Spring Nationals
On Friday afternoon, Eli Beets returned to the driver's seat of his C&C Specialized Trucking at I-75 Raceway (Sweetwater, Tenn.) to compete with the Schaeffer's Oil Spring Nationals.
Amongst 34 Late Models, Beets qualified 11th-quickest before grabbing the final transfer spot in his consolation race. Rolling off 19th in the $7,553-to-win main event, Eli charged through the field to record an eighth-place finish.
Traveling to North Georgia Speedway (Chatsworth, Ga.) on Saturday for the second race of his doubleheader weekend, Beets followed up a fifth-place run in his heat race with a victory in his B-Main. In the 53-lap main event, Eli moved forward seven spots to land an 11th-place finish.
