Crockett Sweeps ASCS Northwest Big E Weekend!

Lonnie Wheatley, ELMA, Wash. (August 27, 2011) – Roger Crockett completed a sweep of the ASCS Northwest double by racing to victory lane in Saturday night’s 30-lap feature event in the Grays Harbor Raceway Big E Weekend finale.

Crockett battled into the lead in traffic at the midway point and went on to post his fifth ASCS Northwest win of the season aboard the Omlid & Swinney No. 11 KPC.

While Crockett started from the pole position, it was front row outside starter Chadd Noland that led the way until traffic worked to Crockett’s advantage on the 15th round.

Crockett went on to take his 21st career ASCS Northwest checkered flag ahead of Henry Van Dam, with Jayme Barnes, Noland and Mason Moore rounding out the top five. Colton Heath was sixth, with Logan Forler, Randy VanAagten, Garen Linder and T.J. Hartman completing the top ten.
