King moves forward in Ray Ingalls Memorial at Boothill; Exciting plans for Gateway Dirt Nationals
Aboard his Advanced Performance Engines No. 14JR Limited Modified for the final time of the 2023 season, Michael King Jr. returned to Boothill Speedway (Greenwood, La.) on Saturday night for the Ray Ingalls Memorial.
In a field of 33 cars, King moved forward two spots in his heat but missed a transfer spot by one car, relegating him into a consolation race. Transferring the top-five from the B-Main, Michael secured his spot into the main event with a fourth-place finish. Charging from the ninth row, King climbed five positions in the 20-lap affair to finish 12th.
Full results from the event are available at www.BoothillDirt.com.
King now turns his attention to the Gateway Dirt Nationals at The Dome at America's Center (St. Louis, Mo.) with plans to team up with the Union County Animal Protection Society (UCAPS). The team will be auctioning off his Late Model door panel from this season and will donate 100% the proceeds to UCAPS. The auction is set to kick off Saturday, December 9th and will run to Saturday, December 16th.
