Tankersley and G3 Boats Making a Winning Combination

Inside Line Promotions – HIGHLANDS, Texas (Aug. 4, 2015) – Channin Tankersley is aiming for his second straight ASCS Gulf South Region championship.

Tankersley is only two points out of the lead with four races remaining thanks to a recent streak of five straight top-four finishes and seven top fives in the last eight races.

“We’ve really picked it up the last few weeks, but it wouldn’t have been possible without all of my sponsors,” he said. “I’ve had a lot of great support throughout the years and G3 Boats came on board this year. They’ve been a huge asset to the team and it’s been great earning wins and podium finishes with their logo on the car.”

G3 Boats has received the highest level of industry customer satisfaction award for more consecutive years than any other aluminum boat manufacturer. Building quality product is a daily focus at G3 Boats, which is a Yamaha Marine company.

“I’ve seen first-hand the product that G3 Boats delivers and it’s top notch,” Tankersley said. “It’s always rewarding to have successful businesses want to be a part of your race team and that’s exactly the way I feel with G3 Boats on the side of my race car. G3 Boats produces a winning product and I think we are a winning team. Together we’re going after another ASCS Gulf South championship.”

Tankersley’s defense of his title continues Aug. 21 at Heart O’ Texas Speedway in Waco, Texas, and Aug. 22 at Cotton Bowl Speedway in Paige, Texas.
