Adam barely misses Farmer City 74; charges to fourth-place outing at Peoria Speedway

Losing the first half of Illinois Speedweek to wet weather, Daniel Adam joined a whopping 55 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series Late Models at Famer City (Ill.) Raceway on Friday afternoon.

Stopping the clock 16th in his stacked qualifying group, Adam made up one spot in his heat race to start third in the first B-Main. Needing a Top-2 finish to make the main event, Daniel slipped back to fifth when the checkered flag flew.

Wanting to make more adjustments to the new chassis, the Adam Family Motorsports team headed to Peoria (Ill.) Speedway on Saturday night for a weekly event.

Running inside the Top-3, Adam was primed to make a move for the lead when a lapped car didn't hold his line and wiped him out. Restarting from the rear, Daniel rallied to finish fourth.
