Roling Triumphs in the 6th Annual Morgan Sheffield Memorial Race at Needmore
Norman Park, GA (August 25, 2024) - Bubba Roling was victorious in the 6th Annual Morgan Sheffield Memorial race held at Needmore Speedway on Saturday night, August 24th. With his impressive performance, Roling became the sixth different winner in the event's six-year history, continuing the tradition of new winners at this prestigious race.
Roling showcased determination as he led 14 of the 20 laps, ultimately securing the top spot ahead of Wil Herrington, who led four laps, and Steve Bryant, who led two, were unable to close in on Roling for the win. The race was a testament to Roling continue to grow a one of the youngest late model talents in the country. He currently sets fifth in the Rogers-Dabbs Performance Parts Crate Racin' USA Dirt Late Model Series standings in his rookie season.
The evening began with Wiley McDaniel setting the fastest time in hot laps with a 16.575. However, it was Bubba Roling who was fastest in qualifying, setting the pole position with a time of 16.489, edging out Herrington’s 16.606. Roling’s strong performance continued throughout the race, culminating in his feature win.

Needmore Speedway will host its next event on Saturday, September 28, 2024, with Childhood Cancer Night. The action-packed evening will feature races across multiple divisions, including CRUSA Street Stocks, Enduro, Super Street, Crown Vic, 604 CRUSA Dirt Late Models, and 602 CRUSA Late Model Sportsman.
