Podium finish for Weaver in National 100 at EAMS

On Saturday afternoon, Randy Weaver returned to the driver’s seat of the Martin’s Industrial No. 116 Late Model at East Alabama Motor Speedway (Phenix City, Ala.) for the 47th annual National 100. Drawing 25 Late Models for the two-day event, Weaver secured his spot into Saturday’s $20,000-to-win A-Main with a third-place finish in his heat.

Starting in 11th, Randy improved eight spots in the 100-lap affair to register a third-place finish. He trailed Brandon Overton and Dennis Erb Jr. to the checkers with Austin Horton and Mark Whitener rounding out the Top-5.
