Top Five
The first night out in the new car, that Eric and the entire Team helped get ready, was a productive one. After not being at the track for a few weeks, Eric had to start in the rear of his heat race. "We stuck a pretty neutral set up in the car to start somewhere, and it took some getting used to, but it handled alright for the first time on the track," stated Eric. Schulz was able to move the car up two spots by the end of the race.
Eric and the rest of the crew discussed what they thought the car needed to handle even better. Soon the set up would be completely overhauled.
Starting on the outside of the third row, Eric tried the high side of the 3/8 oval and quickly got shuffled back 4 spots. After trying a few different lines and feeling out the Eagle Chassis, Eric was able to charge forward for the rest of the main event, winding up with his 14 top five. “The car worked well, there are still some areas for improvement, but I think that it will be a good ride for me!” exclaimed Eric.
