Schulz Takes a Spill

After winning the last two races Eric Schulz has entered, his third attempt he was not as fortunate. After completing two laps in his heat race, the Papik Motors #4 dug into the track hard and biked up on to two wheels. With the high speed, Schulz could not regain control fast enough, and the Sprinter took flight out of the park. Eric spent the night in the hospital with a slight contusion to his lung and a mild concussion. After much rest on Saturday and Sunday, Eric returned to work and has been doing well!
While Eric rest as much as he can, the rest of the crew has stepped up to the plate and work has already begun to get another car out to the local dirt track! Depending on how Schulz’ recovery goes, he hopes to be back in the car within a couple of weeks!
Eric would like to extend his thanks to all who has helped he and his crew. He also thanks everyone for their well wishes and support, he says “It is fans like you that drive a guy to keep his head up and keep going! Thanks!” Most of all Eric would like to give thanks to his parents Dick and Sandy Schulz, they have been behind him and his sister their whole lives, and it’s times like these that really show how special they really are.
