Midwest Sprint Touring Series
$10,000 to win S.D. Sprint Nats starts MSTS season
The 2019 Property Solutions of America Midwest Sprint Touring Series campaign will start with a huge two-day show at Park Jefferson Speedway. The second annual $10,000 to win South Dakota Sprint Car Nationals is April 26-27.
Nearly 40 drivers entered the inaugural running of the South Dakota Sprint Car Nationals – but after two days of competition, it was South Dakotan and 2015 MSTS champion Eric Lutz taking the payday. Gregg Bakker led the opening 18 circuits of the 30 lap championship feature and placed second ahead of Jack Dover, Thomas Kennedy and Seth Brahmer.
The event is co-sanctioned by the Carpetland Nebraska 360 Sprint Series presented by Malvern Bank.
Friday’s competition is completed with a card of IMCA sprint cars, IMCA sport modified and IMCA sport compacts. Saturday’s event includes IMCA sprint cars, IMCA modifieds and IMCA stock cars.
