HOFFMAN SECURES SECOND BANDIT A-MAIN WIN

Wisconsin Dells WI-Jordan Hoffman uses strategy to win his second Doug’s North Side Auto Bandit A-Main of the season. Parker Wenkman and Ashton Schultz brought the 15 car field to the stripe for their Lyle Nabbefeldt Tribute Night 20 lap feature. Wenkman would immediately succumb to an electrical issue at the green and pull out of the way handing the early lead to Rookie Pilot Ashin Schultz. Schultz would hang tough in front while the movers started moving forward. Rick Bolton would be the first to challenge for the lead and he would take it quickly and move on. A caution would fly right around midway bringing out the Five Star Concrete and Excavating cone the top 3 would go to the bottom opening up the outside front row for Jordan Hoffman to challenge on the ensuing restart. Hoffman would take the lead but Bolton wouldn’t give up that easy as he would climb to the high side and challenge as the laps continued to click off. The front 2 would run to the checkered side by side in a seesaw battle that Hoffman would win by .186 seconds at the line. Bolton was second followed by Steve Ecker, James Junget and Stephanie Wilson. Steve Ecker would run a nearly perfect qualifying lap as he was fastest at a 16.801. Hoffman would win the Fast Dash and Brock Baumbach would win the heat race. The Doug’s Northside Auto Bandits return to action June 10th at DRP.
