His Legend Car win came in the Three Sixteen Motorsports No. 19 entry and the Modified win came in the RFI Resources / Smith Transport No. 7 Wheeler Fleet Solutions / MB Customs racecar.

Troutman now holds six wins on the season.

“It was a busy weekend, but it was a great one. We had a lot of fun and got some victories along the way,” Troutman said. “I appreciate Three Sixteen Motorsports for having me driving their Legend Car again. They have top-notch equipment, but even more they are great people. Then, on Saturday we took our Modified to Victory Lane at County Line (Raceway). Again, it was just a great weekend of racing with some great folks.”

Competing in the midweek event, Drake Troutman entered the Three Sixteen Motorsports No. 19 Legend Car into battle at Millbridge Speedway (Salisbury, N.C.) on Wednesday evening for the Wednesday Summer Series event.

Pulling a clean sweep of the program, Troutman followed up the fastest qualifying effort with a heat race win and a flag-to-flag victory in the feature. He scored his fifth win of the season ahead of Andrew Patterson and Adam Benaway.

Trekking back to Pennsylvania on Friday, Drake entered his Super Late Model into battle at Bedford Speedway (Bedford, Pa.). After starting the night with a heat race victory, Troutman came in third in the 25-lap feature, which came behind Kyle Lee and Jeff Rine.

On Saturday, Troutman was pulling double duty at County Line Raceway (Elm City, N.C.) for the Tar River Rumble. In a field of 28 Ultimate Southeast Series entries, Drake’s qualifying effort positioned him on the fourth row for the $3,000-to-win A-Main. Clawing forward one spot in the 40-lap affair, Troutman posted a seventh-place finish.

In his Modified, Drake followed up the fastest lap in time trials with a dominant victory in the feature. The win marked his sixth of the season.

The upcoming weekend – April 29-30 – currently has the team slated to enter a pair of events in both their Super Late Model and Modified. Double duty action for Troutman begins on Friday at Bedford (Pa.) Speedway and continues on Saturday at Tyler County Speedway (Middlebourne, W.V.).
