Drake Troutman parks Modified in victory lane at Hagerstown
Drake Troutman registered his fourth win of 2022 on Saturday night with a Modified triumph at Maryland’s Hagerstown Speedway in his RFI Resources / Smith Transport No. 7 Wheeler Fleet Solutions / MB Customs entry. (Turn 5 Turn Around photo)
On Friday evening, Drake Troutman visited Bedford Speedway (Bedford, Pa.) to compete in both the Super Late Model and Modified ranks for the track's 86th season opener.
After starting the night with a heat race victory in his Smith Transport No. 7 Late Model, Troutman recorded a third-place finish in the feature, which came behind Matt Cosner and Jeff Rine.
In the Modified ranks, Drake received the fourth-starting position for the feature after placing second in his heat. Racing to a runner-up finish, Troutman trailed Mike Altobelli Jr. to the checkers.
The following night at Hagerstown Speedway (Hagerstown, Md.), Troutman’s second-place finish in his heat race positioned him on the second row for the feature. Soaring into the lead early, Drake cruised to his fourth win of the season ahead of Ray Kable and Mike Altobelli Jr.
