Drake Troutman muscles to second-place finish at Path Valley

With threatening weather cancelling his plans on Friday, Drake Troutman entered his lone event of the weekend on Saturday night at Path Valley Speedway (Spring Run, Pa.), returning to the driver’s seat of his Smith Transport No. 7 Modified. In a field of 20 cars, Troutman got the ball rolling early in the evening, charging to a heat race win. Starting the feature in eighth, Drake slipped outside the Top-10 in the early stages but rebounded late in the feature to finish second. He trailed Michael Altobelli Jr. to the checkers with Carl McKinney, Brad Kling, and Ray Kable Jr. rounding out the Top-5.
