Zearfoss Continues Consistency with Destiny Motorsports

PETERSEN MEDIA: Since moving to the seat of the Destiny Motorsports No. 4 car, Brock Zearfoss has seemed to gel well as the team has been in the hunt almost nightly for the last month and a half. That story continued on Friday night as Zearfoss picked up another All Star Series of Champions Top-Five at Outlaw Speedway.

‘Friday night we had a good night,” Zearfoss said. “ We were solid all night, timed in well, heat raced well and put ourselves in the Dash and that led to another really good Top-Five for our race team.”

Continuing to be strong in the Northeast, Zearfoss and company timed the MonDak Portables/Ft. Union Supply and Trading/Moose’s LZ Bar and Grill No. 4 machine in third quickest in qualifications.

Lining up on the front row of his heat race, Zearfoss would take care of business as the heat race win put the Destiny Motorsports into the all important Dash where his fifth place finish placed him in the third row to kick off the feature event.

Battling with the likes of Aaron Reutzel and Ryan Smith, Zearfoss showcased a very strong mount underneath him that allowed him to spend much of the race battling for position inside the Top-Five. As the laps wound down, Zearfoss settled into the fourth position where he would go on to close his night out.

Saturday night the scene shifted to Selinsgrove Speedway in Pennsylvania. Timing in fifth fastest in time trials, Zearfoss would pick up a couple of positions during his heat race as he finishing third in the Heavy Equipment Loaders and Parts/Berkebile Oil Company/BAPS Auto Paint and Supply entry.

Lining up 12th in the feature event, Zearfoss would get off to a good start as he worked his way towards the Top-10. Racing hard for position, Zearfoss would look to be on his way to another strong finish but contact on lap 22 while fighting for position would leave Zearfoss with torn up equipment and not enough time in the work area and his night would come to a close.

“Saturday we were pretty good again, I just got involved in a wreck fighting for position late and with no time in the work area it ended our night,” He added.

Destiny Motorsports would like to thank MonDak Portables, Ft. Union Supply and Trading, Moose’s LZ Bar and Grill, Heavy Equipment Loaders and Parts, Berkebile Oil Company, BAPS Auto Paint and Supply, Meckleys Limestone, Champion Brand Lubricants, All Star Performance, KSE Racing Products, HRP, Wilwood, Keizer Wheels, Simpson, Petersen Media, My Race Pass, FK Rod Ends, Boss Signs and Graphics, Classic Ink, Brown and Miller Racing Solutions, C&H Veteran Enterprises, and Hoosier Tires North for their continued support.

2018 BY THE NUMBERS: Starts-80, Wins-0, Top 5’s-16, Top 10’s-39.
