PETERSEN MEDIA: Doing their best to avoid the rain on the East Coast over the weekend, Brock Zearfoss and Destiny Motorsports would sneak in a race at Port Royal Speedway on Saturday night where they would run seventh, before a nice charge to second with the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions on Sunday night at Lebanon Valley Speedway.

“It was a pretty good weekend for us again,” Zearfoss said. “Saturday night at Port Royal we started too deep in the feature, and on Sunday we had a great car all night long and almost pulled one off.”

With Friday night being a complete was everywhere Destiny Motorsports tried to race, the team was able to make the trip to Port Royal Speedway on Saturday night where Zearfoss would finish fifth and second during the duel heat format.

Lining up 13th on the grid for the feature event at ‘The Speed Palace’, the reigning track champ would do all he could from deep in the field. Working his way forward, Zearfoss would jump into the Top-10 where he scored a seventh place finish aboard the MonDak Portables/Ft. Union Supply and Trading/Moose’s LZ Barr and Grill entry.

With the weather clearing on Sunday, Zearfoss and crew would meet up with the Arctic Cat All Star Circuit of Champions as they invaded Lebanon Valley Speedway. Timing in second fastest in his qualifying group, ‘The Jonestown Jet’ would line up in the third starting position in his heat race.

Running second in the heat race, Zearfoss would move into the Dash where a seventh place finish would put him in the fourth row to start the feature event. In the feature event, Zearfoss would get off to a great start as forged his way into the Top-Five and soon found himself in the Top-Three chasing after Gerard McIntyre and Sammy Swindell.

Late in the race, Zearfoss would come alive and drive by Sammy Swindell and make his way underneath McIntyre as he looked to grab the lead on the race’s last lap but the caution flag would waive and officials would then throw the red to allow teams to refuel.

Restarting in second, Zearfoss would give chase but was unable to get by McIntyre as he picked up a second place finish in his first All Star start with Destiny Motorsports.

“Making the Dash definitely makes the night easier and in the feature we had some breaks go our way and we were in the right position to win,” Zearfoss noted. “We came up one spot short, but we will take it and move on to the next one.”

Destiny Motorsports would like to thank MonDak Portables, Ft. Union Supply and Trading, Moose’s LZ Bar and Grill, Heavy Equipment Loaders and Parts, Berkebile Oil Company, BAPS Auto Paint and Supply, Meckleys Limestone, Champion Brand Lubricants, All Star Performance, KSE Racing Products, HRP, Wilwood, Keizer Wheels, Simpson, Petersen Media, My Race Pass, FK Rod Ends, Boss Signs and Graphics, Classic Ink, Brown and Miller Racing Solutions, C&H Veteran Enterprises, and Hoosier Tires North for their continued support.
