Wings Unlimited Guides More Than Two Dozen Drivers to Summer Wins
Inside Line Promotions – BIGLERVILLE, Pa. (Aug. 24, 2014) – More than two dozen sprint car drivers used Wings Unlimited products to propel them to Victory Lane during the past few weeks.
Ian Madsen, Brent Marks, Greg Hodnett, Lance Dewease and several others captured multiple wins during that span with Madsen powering to his first career track championship at Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa.
There were also victories with the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series, UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions, MOWA Series as well as during the 54th annual FVP Knoxville Nationals Presented by Casey’s General Stores and the inaugural Renegade Sprints event.
410 FEATURE WINNERS –
Madsen claimed wins at Knoxville Raceway on Aug. 3 during the 3rd annual Capitani Classic and on July 26. He was also victorious during a UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions race at Huset’s Speedway in Brandon, S.D., on July 20.
Marks scored a pair of wins at both Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pa., and at Port Royal Speedway in Port Royal, Pa., during the past month. Marks was victorious at Williams Grove Speedway on Aug. 15 and July 25. He notched wins at Port Royal Speedway on Aug. 2 and July 26.
Hodnett kicked off a winning month by capturing a World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series win at Williams Grove Speedway on July 18. He also garnered his fourth win in a row at Grandview Speedway in Bechtelsville, Pa., on July 29 before most recently earning another triumph at Williams Grove Speedway on Aug. 15 during the Twin 20s.
Dewease earned his 300th career win by claiming the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series Summer Nationals at Williams Grove Speedway on July 19. Dewease also picked up a thrilling victory at Port Royal Speedway on Aug. 9.
Cap Henry drove to a pair of victories at Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio. Henry took the lead on Lap 6 en route to his first career triumph at the track on Aug. 1. Two weeks later he powered to another win at the track.
Randy Hannagan took the lead with two laps remaining en route to becoming the winner in the inaugural Renegade Sprints event at Atomic Speedway in Chillicothe, Ohio, last Saturday.
Logan Wagner picked up his first 410ci feature win at Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pa., on Saturday.
Andy McKisson claimed his first victory of the season at Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pa., on Aug. 16.
Mike Wagner became the 13th different winner this season at Port Royal Speedway when he was victorious on Aug. 16.
Tim Wagaman garnered his first career 410ci feature win at Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pa., after leading all 33 laps on Aug. 9.
Danny Lasoski scored his 101st career 410ci triumph at Knoxville Raceway in Knoxville, Iowa, during the nonqualifier event of the 54th annual FVP Knoxville Nationals Presented by Casey’s General Stores on Aug. 9.
Christopher Bell powered to a MOWA Sprint victory at Highland Speedway in Highland, Ill., on July 23 during the opening round of the Illinois Sprint Week.
360/358 FEATURE WINNERS –
Mark Smith claimed three consecutive victories at Selinsgrove Speedway in Selinsgrove, Pa., which was capped with the first annual Kramer Cup on Aug. 9. Smith also won at the track on Aug. 2 and July 26.
Derek Hagar increased his win total to 13 with USCS triumphs at Dixie Speedway in Woodstock, Ga., last Saturday and at Clayhill Motorsports in Atwood, Tenn., on Aug. 16.
Shawn Dancer earned back-to-back wins at Limaland Motorsports Park in Lima, Ohio, on Aug. 8 and Aug. 1. He led the distance of both NRA Sprint Invaders races.
Chase Dietz used a last-lap pass to pick up his second straight triumph at Lincoln Speedway and his third of the season on Aug. 2. He also drove from ninth to win on July 26.
Isaac Sneeringer captured a pair of wins at Trail-Way Speedway in Hanover, Pa., on Aug. 1 and July 18.
Robbie Stillwaggon powered to his first career victory at Selinsgrove Speedway on Saturday.
Jason Solwold won Night 1 of the Bob’s Burgers & Brews Summer Nationals at Skagit Speedway in Alger, Wash., on July 25.
Hodnett also recorded a 360ci win during the Night of Wings at Bridgeport Speedway in Swedesboro, N.J., on July 16.
305/SPORTSMAN WINNERS –
Bobby Hockenberry led the majority of the feature on Aug. 16 at Williams Grove Speedway en route to his second win of the season.
Tom Wyckoff scored his first victory at Williams Grove Speedway on Aug. 9.
Jeff Miller Jr. earned the triumph at Port Royal Speedway on Aug. 9.
Scott Geesey charged from 11th to win at Williams Grove Speedway on Aug. 2.
Steve Wilbur took the lead with three laps remaining en route to his triumph at Williams Grove Speedway on July 26.
Gregg Foster was victorious at Susquehanna Speedway Park in Newberrytown, Pa., on July 19.
Kris Miller picked up a victory at Route 66 Motor Speedway in Amarillo, Texas, on July 12.
