Ethan McKee Wins First Career RBO Main Event in Sportsman Class
Points Race #2 for the Red Bluff Outlaws took place on Saturday, October 29th as the first part of a double header weekend of racing.
In total 33 drivers signed in to compete in Points Race #2 for the Sportsman Class.
The day began with Eric Gannon of Redding, CA setting Fast Time. Gannon turned a lap time of 9.062 seconds to earn the Fast Time Honors in Qualifying behind the wheel of his Gannon-Johns Racing, 4Front Racing Engines #75e entry.
Heat Race #1 saw Cottonwood, CA driver Jay Salamy earn his 1st Heat Race Win of the season in his #14j entry.
Heat Race #2 saw Oakley, CA driver Todd Tadiello pilot his Only Fans, Rohlfs Racing Engines #00T entry to his 2nd Heat Race victory of the season.
Heat Race #3 was claimed by Cottonwood, CA driver Ethan McKee in his McKee Racing #42 machine. The Heat Race Win was the first of the season for Ethan.
Heat Race #4 saw Red Bluff, CA driver Kieran Brughelli pick up his 1st Heat Race Win of the season in his Ed Brown Trucking, Swimming Pool Perfections #4 entry.
The C-Feature was won by Ione, CA driver Zach Kavert.
The B-Feature was won by Cottonwood, Ca driver Cody Brucker.
The Trophy Dash was claimed by the #42 of Ethan McKee, earning him the Pole Position for the upcoming Main Event.
The A-Main Event saw Ethan McKee earn his 1st career Main Event Win with the Red Bluff Outlaws in his #42 entry. 2nd Place with an impressive drive through the field after coming from the C-Main was the #2 of Zach Kavert. After winning the season opening Points Race, Cottonwood, CA driver Jojo Owens backed it up with another podium finish in his RB3 Racing, SRT Karts #68b in 3rd.
