Brian Brown Joining World of Outlaws Friday at Lakeside Speedway

Inside Line Promotions – GRAIN VALLEY, Mo. (Oct. 20, 2021) – Brian Brown returns to action this Friday as the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series visits one of the closest tracks to his home.

“I don’t know if there is a home field advantage when the Outlaws come,” Brown said. “I only ever really run at Lakeside when the Outlaws are there. Our expectations are always to go there and have an opportunity to win and that’s not any different this week.

“If we go in and qualify and put ourselves in a good spot we can compete for a top five, a podium and potentially a win. The most important piece of the night is qualifying. We’re working hard to go in there and set quick time.”

“FVP sponsors the event so when there are 250 FVP customers and employees there you want to produce,” Brown said. “We’ve been in contention to win and have won one there. We led for about 25 laps and got passed on a double-file restart by Steve Kinser as well. It seems like we’re fighting for a win or we don’t get qualified well and we’re fighting for 10th.

“Danny, Nate and my dad continue to plug away. We’ve had a couple of weeks off, but the work hasn’t stopped. We’re keeping building and trying to progress. These guys have put the effort in to put a good piece on the track Friday. Our engines with Charlie Garrett are always strong so we should be right in the hunt.”
