Knoxville Season Opener

4/21/2007 - Kaley Gharst – turned in an impressive night of racing at the Knoxville season opener. After some motor problems in qualifying which put the 18 year old from Decatur, IL. starting 7th in his heat and finishing 5th. With a 16th starting position in the A-Main the fans witnessed a determined young man on a mission to win. Climbing up to 3rd and running down the leaders when the red flag came out. Not wanting to settle for 3rd he made a move on the last lap on the high side only to lose one spot. Bringing home the Tri-Star Motorsports and Gharst/Williams maxim to a 4th place finish. It was a great night of racing!
