5/28/2007 - Kaley Gharst – 5/28/2007 – String’em up! Two more top 5 finishes! Friday night at Lee County Raceway with the Sprint Invaders, after a bad pill draw, Kaley started last in his heat and finished 5th. Having to run the B-main and winning the 18 year old had his work cut out for him. Starting 17th in the A-main and with some of the Knoxville regulars starting up front the youngster was up to the task. Passing 13 cars to finish 4th. Saturday was a wash out at Knoxville. Then off to Columbus Junction for a Sunday race with the Sprint Invaders again. The pill draw was a little better starting 5th in his heat and finishing 3rd. Starting 8th in the A-Main Kaley picked his way through the field to a 2nd place finish. Another great weekend of racing for the Tri-Star Motor Sports/Maxim Team.
