Rain storm extends Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series visit to Senoia Raceway

Heading back to Senoia (Ga.) Raceway after the tour's original date was rained out, Wil Herrington joined the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series on Saturday afternoon for the $15,000-to-win Independence Shootout.

With 42 cars on the grounds, Herrington finished sixth in his heat race before the A-Main was pushed to Sunday because of heavy storms in the area. Starting 18th in the 50-lap feature, Wil made up five spots to finish 13th.

Herrington currently sits eighth in the HTSDS point standings.
