APPERT FINALLY RETURNS TO DACOTAH SPEEDWAY VICTORY
After two complete restarts, Seth Howe-Kellar led the field to the green flag in the Hobby Stock feature. Nathan Mundahl and Derrick Appert started to reel in Howe-Kellar and it was suddenly a three car battle for the lead. Mundahl and Appert split Howe-Kellar for the lead. As Howe-Kellar started to fade through the field, Mundahl and Appert continued to battle for the lead. A late race caution regrouped the field and on the restart, Mike Appert passed Munhdal for second and challenged Derrick Appert for the lead. However, Derrick Appert held off Mike Appert for his first win since picking up three wins in 2021. Bill Hultberg made a late race pass to finish third ahead of Nathan Mundahl and Josh Roehrich rounded out the top five.
