Rumble in the Arena Fall Shootout

Jr. WIng (14 karts)

The 20 lap Jr. Wing feature was paced to the green by Blake Adams and Amelia Eisenschenk as the top two point earners from the heat races. At the drop of the green, Adams slipped a bit causing KC Sparks to run into the back of his kart, giving Adams a push ahead of Eisenschenk and forcing Sparks to collect his kart and drop back to fifth. Coming out of turn two, Sparks just held the position ahead of Ellie Hesley and refocused his charge to chase down Laela Eisenschenk and Meelah Watson. Sparks quickly closed in on Watson but his speed carried him into the back of her kart, allowing Hensley and Tylar Alton to move past. One lap later, Alton moved past Hensley into the top five. A quick caution bunched up the field but Adams held off the Eisenschenk drivers while Alton worked the backside of Watson. Sparks missed the entry to turn three allowing Cole McQuiston to move ahead. Sparks worked different lines trying to move back up and when he finally made the move going into turn one, the red flag flew putting Sparks back for the restart. Sparks continued to follow McQuiston for the next several circuits with Jacob Anderson stalking behind waiting for an opening to move up. Sparks finally pulled off the bump and run in turn three to move up with Anderson in tow. By the time he finally moved up, the rest of the field had pulled away and Adams claimed the feature victory. Amelia Eisehschenk held on for second with Alton on the podium in third. Laela Eisenschenk, Watson, Hensley, Sparks, Anderson, McQuiston, and Hunter Hanson made up the top ten finishers.

PRO Jr. Wing (12 Karts)
Sparks and Adams were the front row starters for the PRO Jr. WIng 20-lap feature event. On the initial start, Adams pinched Sparks into the infield disc after jumping the start before the line, but the officials let it go and Adams quickly pulled away from the field. Sparks maintained second ahead of Hanson and Anderson with Amelia and Laela EIsenschenk battling for fifth position. Ameila was able to get to the inside of Anderson heading down the backstretch, opening the door for both Eisenschenk drivers to move into the top five. On lap five, Hanson missed the entry to turn three allowing Amelia to get the position and Laela followed her past to set their sights on Sparks. Amelia was able to slip under Sparks on lap six while Laela patiently waited for another circuit to overtake him. While the drivers were battling, Adams increased his lead while Alton closed in on Hanson. Just before the halfway signal, Alton moved ahead of Hanson and started to chase Sparks down. At one point, Alton closed in, but Sparks shut the door, forcing Alton to back out of the throttle and restart the pursuit. Coming to two laps to go signal, the battle on the track was between Alton and Sparks with Alton tagging Sparks in the tail out of turn four. Sparks drove out of the contact and was able to hold the position. Alton cruised to his second wing win on the day with Amelia holding off Laela for the podium positions. Sparks fell just short in fourth with Alton, Hensley, Hanson, Watson, Anderson, and Michael Hucovski the top ten.
