Kastner Edges Zenz at the Finish Line
Pole sitter Tanner Hofer and Craig Kastner battled for the lead in the IMCA Sport Compact feature. Kastner grabbed the lead from the rookie driver, bringing Andy Reed with him. As Hofer started to fade through the field, Reed started to challenge Kastner for the lead. As they raced for the win, it allowed third place, Christopher Zenz, to quickly close in on the leaders. Zenz made it a three car battle for the win with only two laps to go. Zenz took the high line, passing Reed and racing door to door with Kastner. They made contact out of turn four and as they crossed the finish line, Kastner held on to win his fourth feature victory at Dacotah Speedway. Christopher Zenz had to settle for a close second place. Greg Zenz finished third ahead of Andy Reed while points leader Seth Howe-Kellar rounded out the top five.
