Lucas Oil Speedway Weekly Racing Series Midseason Championships set for Saturday

WHEATLAND, MO. (June 13, 2022) - Lucas Oil Speedway's Big Adventure RV Weekly Racing Series resumes Saturday night as the Bolivar Herald-Free Press and KIX 105.7-Townsquare Media Present the Midseason Championships.

Midseason champions will be recognized following features and in three of the four divisions, the points chase is up for grabs entering this week's action.

Cole Henson of Russellville holds just a five-point lead over Nevada's Larry Ferris in the Hermitage Lumber Late Models as those two have either won or finished second in each feature this season. Henson, the defending track champion, broke a tie with his victory last week.

Six-time Ozark Golf Cars USRA B-Mod track champ Kris Jackson of Lebanon has a 13-point lead over Springfield's Ryan Gillmore. Jackson has two feature wins, but wound up eighth in the main event last Saturday after a flat tire at the start of the feature while Gillmore wound up third.

In the O'Reilly Auto Parts USRA Stock Cars, Mason Beck of Urbana hangs on to the points lead by 16 over Bryan White of Lebanon, with Robert White 29 behind the leader.

The only runaway leader is Dillon McCowan of Urbana in the Cedar Creek Beef Jerky USRA Modifieds. McCowan, the 2021 track champ, has five feature wins already in 2022 and has a 108-point lead over second-place Ryan Middaugh of Fulton.
