BCR Announces "Promotions Director" For 2020 Season
ALBION- As the 2020 racing season nears, Boone County Raceway is continuing to make preparations for the upcoming season.
Officials at Boone County Raceway are proud to announce the addition of a Promotions Director to the upcoming season being held by Ron and Mari Melcher. Both Ron and Mari have had a long standing history of racing in Nebraska as they promoted US 30 Speedway for a number of seasons before retiring at the end of the 2017 season. Since then they have been involved in a number of events at Stuart Speedway. The Melchers will be tasked with planning promotions throughout the race season for both families and race teams to enjoy.
Mari Melcher said, “We look forward to continuing the long standing family tradition of Friday nights under the lights at Boone County Raceway. The vision is clear in 2020 and fun is on the agenda.”
The team is currently working on a schedule and will be at the Columbus Swap Meet on Saturday to answer any questions fans or drivers may have. We look forward to seeing you there or at the track in 2020!
