FALLOWEEN 150 TO CASEY JOHNSON

Wisconsin Dells WI-Edgerton’s Casey Johnson made his first Alive for 5 Series Race of 2023 a good one as he captured the Falloween 150 in the Season Finale presented by Wegner Automotive. This year’s installment of the Falloween 150 was broken up into two segments with full championship points and purse being awarded for both. Ryan Farrell would win the first 75 lap segment followed to the line by Luke Fenhaus, Gabe Sommers, Casey Johnson and Max Kahler. Segment 2 would be an overall special win for Casey Johnson as he moved past Defending Alive for Five series Champion Gabe Sommers with 4 laps remaining. Johnson would be followed to the line by Sommers, Kahler, Farrell and Fenhaus. By virtue of his 2nd and 5th place finishes Luke Fenhaus was crowned the 2023 Alive for Five Series Champion. Fenhaus is now the only driver to ever win two Alive for Five Super Late Model Championships. Ryan Farrell was the fastest of 33 Super Lates with a blistering lap of 13.278. The two qualifying heats were won by Jeff Storm and Shaun Scheel while the B-Feature was won by Minnesota’s Billy Mohn. Braden Berge was the Brakeometer Alive for 5 Series Rookie of the Year and Mitch Haver was the Quality Freight Rate Hard Charger Award Winner for the year in the Alive for 5 Series.
