Additional Partners Added to Illinois Dirt Shootout Weekend at Fairbury Speedway

FAIRBURY, IL (May 8, 2024) As we draw closer to the Illinois Dirt Shootout Presented by Popejoy Incorporated & HOTROD Septic Treatment at Fairbury Speedway on May 23-25, additional partners have been solidified as part of making this one of largest DIRTcar UMP Modified weekends of all time.

We would like to welcome Allstar Performance, Ted Brown’s Quality Paint & Body Shop, Fairbury Fastener & Supply, QuickCar, Mullins Race Engines, Dyers Top Rods, Aftershock Decal & Design, and Varsitee Screenprinting all as a part of the Illinois Dirt Shootout as official sponsors of the event. A special thank you also goes out to Summit Racing Equipment as they have generously donated a large quantity of items that will be included in the welcome bags provided to drivers competing in the event.

The Illinois Dirt Shootout Presented by Popejoy Incorporated & HOTROD Septic Treatment is set to take place Thursday-Saturday (May 23-25) and boasts over a $90,000 purse for the Saturday night feature alone. Below is the breakdown of each of these awesome sponsors for this inaugural event.

QuickCar – (Thursday, May 23 & Friday, May 24) $50 Fast Time Award to the fastest qualifier in Group A, B, C, and D each night

Mullins Race Engines – Redraw sponsor for the $20,000-to-win main event. Following the Friday night portion, the top 12 Modifieds in overall points from the 2 preliminary nights will be locked into Saturday night’s main event. Those 12 drivers will redraw 1-12. If the winner of the 60-lap main event comes from the 12th place starting position the driver will earn an extra $1,200 for their efforts. If the winner comes from 9th they will earn an extra $900. If they winner comes from 3rd they will earn an extra $300, etc.
